At the moment it's been filled for around a week, even though it says it'll be deleted in 48 hours.
How long until it's public? I'd rather pay 500 so I can use it now honestly.

Filled doesn't mean that you or anyone else is going to automatically get it. You didn't offer points.
How about buying it and posting it? That way you get it AND you make a contribution to the site. Items don't magically appear here, people buy them (with their own hard-earned money) and post them for others to download.It was filled for the people who got in on the request and paid their 500 points. It wasn't filled to go to the blog apparently, which is the filler's right.
So, make another request and the filler will probably hook you up.
(PS getting paid 25 points for blog items makes filling requests for the blog rather worthless. Also, anything that goes to the blog appears a day later on leech sites like render-state who depend on our blog for their content.)There are sites where you can DL thousands of movies for free. Sites where you can DL tens of thousands songs for free. There are even sites where you can DL programs that cost hundreds of $$. Sites where people will Crack and repack hundreds of games for free. If you're into naughty stuff the free sky has almost no limit.
Here however you'd better cough up some points or else.
This is why it would be a good idea to allow additional entries to offer points for filled items - rather than just closing items after 48Hrs, with no option to do so other than a new request.
Maybe keep the points offers open for say a week.
Unless you are ab le to visit the requests every day it is so easy to suddenly see an item of interest has just been filled - and not able to add your offer.
And not everyone sticks rigidly to the 500 for something they would like..Points that you get for free every day just for being here.
Hunter implemented the point system as an incentive to get folks to share their purchased items and it has worked brilliantly. After KAT was taken down, we all stumbled around for a few months before finding this place and settled in nicely into our new home. It quickly became the place for Daz and Poser items, and the other sleazy pay sites crumbled. It's become a vibrant and dynamic spot for us all, but it depends on everyone contributing. That's what 'sharing' is all about.Yeah, I mean if I could put in the 500 now I would.

And how the hell is putting items on the blog worthless? My recent shares of older items have netted me over 30K points in the last few weeks. They're 'selling' better than the new items I buy and share every few weeks. I filled two requests a while back with items I was going to buy anyway. They netted me a bunch of points all at once, but my regular 'sales' just keep going and going.Read badmojo's post. He tells you what to do. Open a new request and offer 500 (or more) points. Someone will probably hook you up.
Points are ridiculous easy to get
Reposting any dead links. Share one or two items. Doesn't even need to be Daz items anymore. Im 50/50 on the points thing. It does work and encourages sharing. It also encourages hoarding and not sharing.Ive seen items go unposted for months. Some never posted. They used to be posted immediately after being filled.
Most of this BS started during a hoarding phase created by a member who help form/strength backdoor trades and sitting on content. It never recovered
Add that to the lack of appreciation of leaches and it didn't help.Site still doing better than I expected but the community isn't the same.
And there's that whining I enjoy so much.
