What's your favorite G3F or G8F figure?

If you are talking base figures, I would say G8F by some margin, for the versatility.
If you are talking base characters, I liked Bethany 7 & I would like to see an 8.
That said, I think Mei Lin 8 is looking very good.

I don't have a preference between Gen3 or 8, I tend to use Gen3 more because I have more stuff.

I think my favorite character has to be Georgina (Gen8)

I also like Gen3 Bethany 7, voluptuous without been fat.

G3 has a lot of backing like V4 but thats changing quickly.
Also most G3 stuff fits G8 and with a bit of work, V4 fits G8.
Also textures and outfits from G8M fit G8F and the other way works also. That said, G8 surpasses all for content. Even most G3 morphs will transfer. So G8 is G3+++

The detail level on new characters for G8 makes older characters look like cartoons. There's not a lot of reasons I can find to stay with G3.

I still think the Daz Troll is great btw so not trying to bash peoples likes but, at one time I thought V3 was cool. Time to move on.

One of my main irritatations is that with G8F, they changed the ankle rigging & it is difficult / impossible to use legacy footwear.

I wish someone would be able to come up with a script to do that.

With feet id probably just hide the foot and position the footwear. Sux but may still yield a workable render.

Im still having issues with the triangle ove the naughty bits. Guess I cant figure out smoothing. G8 is slowly coming out with good shoes though.

ICD. Genesis 3 was a breath of fresh air. Genesis 8 is good-ish.
The ability to bend dolly into some human poses is a challenge. Sometime impossible to do at all without breaking it's neck. Poser style IK ability would be good in DS.

Its a hard sell but until artists start producing semi consistent content like https://www.daz3d.com/orc-hd-for-genesis-8-male
for G3 I cant look backwards. V4 can still produce great renders but nothing ive seen comes closr to whats coming out recently for G8. Sure G3 might support such morphs but, it seems artist are dedicating their current efforts on G8 and so is Daz. New isnt always better but it usually is.

Perhaps a script will one day improve G8. It did on poses.
I wouldn't totally abandon G3 for most but ive come close to it for sanity.

G8F Its the queen for sure, she can wear everything = clothes hair and skins. I use G2 skins on her, i dont use the G8 skins much.
