OK so I started messing with morphs. I took a base G8 and added tons of morphs. I had to back off the eye morphs because the eyeball was merging with the eyelids. Id like smaller eyes but atm its not happening on this test.
For several reasons I cant nail down, this looks wrong. I know there has probably been a person born that looks exactly like this but "to me" it doesnt look "normal".
I am looking for feedback on morphing faces and bodies to keep them a natural and lifelike as possible. secondary input on the skin/eyes is welcome also. not worried about hair atm thats another thread.
Thanks

I thinks that's the issue here.
I'm assuming it's an Asian character? If so try undoing some morphs especially on the eye area's and use some Asian eye morphs.October 15, 2018 at 9:17 AM #802347Scrapped it and heres another try with less morphs. Still not happy with it. Might have to load some ref pics
October 15, 2018 at 11:57 AM #802517Well, the distance between the eyes are wrong - it's too wide - they also seem to be slightly too high on the face, but that varies, of course.
To get a good distance between the eyes, forget what you learned in drawing class ("the distance between the eyes is about the width of the nose", or worse "the distance between the eyes is about one eye's width") - they're both usually wrong.
Distance between eyes is usually about one eye from iris to iris - so, width of eye, including eyelids, from the outer iris rim to the outer iris rim. It differs a bit depending on race, but for most asians, especially petite asian girls, it will mostly be correct.

She is a big improvement but as @errilhl said the eyes are too far apart.

October 23, 2018 at 12:07 AM #812875Much better attempt! with a more interesting lighting it could work. The light is just too flat at the moment in my opinion.
October 23, 2018 at 5:31 AM #813158thanks. i scrapped her and restarted. I purposely dropped as much light on her as i could to see her as much as possible.
I do tend sometimes to over light though.
