@frank22 .. the point here is not everyone is computer literate enough to know about computers, piracy and software (and in a lot of places, its not even considered criminal).. but one look at the screen you are looking at will show them the semi-nudity..
.. and in most parts of the world its an ingrained cultural idea that it is bad.... as for me.. i am fine with anything.. but we also need to have some consideration on how others feel (though we may be pirates).. 🙂
November 25, 2023 at 2:38 AM #2044575My dad is an old school hacker/pirate, the *law* isn't the concern with them. Family values and culture is different.
November 25, 2023 at 3:38 AM #2044576Fair enough Mona. If those are your family values I respect them and understand the issue you have with sexualised content.
November 25, 2023 at 3:49 AM #2044577As others have said, and before and again, it's going to be difficult to completely police or censor a site which is primarily devoted to aggregating assets for human body/anatomy modeling and posing software (and yes, that IS what we're still talking about here), whether it's high seas or no.
The very best you might hope for (opinion) is a site rebuild one day where filtering works similarly to other self-censor-option sites, and where toggling SFW and NSFW on and off is possible. If I understand it correctly, that would imply and require very specific and up-kept tags or references to the different levels of nudity or acts involved, depending on the desired effect or strictness, on a per-image basis*; possibly a censorship moderator devoted for incoming and archived image content; possibly intensified posting requirements for users, etc; and then and only then could they likely be properly filtered throughout a site like this one.
*Perhaps this has changed a great deal and there are easier shortcuts to more encompassing effects in single actions or databases (have been out of publishing for some time now). Maybe AI plays a role. But either way it seems like a vast and tedious undertaking, and, as things stand, a burden on both mods and members.I don't know if WP currently has these capabilities, but - and also as others have said - I also vote for other priorities being addressed with the precious time of mods prior to such a re-work or implementation.
