What's Minto's hair ?

Used in most of the pics for Minto, anyone know what hair this is ?
I thought it was the classic bob but it's cut different.

When you say its cut different.
Do you mean where the hair is shorter where the cheeks are.
That does seem to be the one thing that is unique about that bob hair style that is not shared by other bobs i am seeing.
I been looking for sometime and cant seem to match that very same cheeks cut.

@globalrecession2009 I thought maybe they tweaked the opacity maps to make that cut on a classic bob. I'll try and check if that's feasible.

@eelgoo They do when it's their creation. If not sometimes they mention the creator. But that might draw attention to the competition I guess.

Yes, there is a marked reluctance to give credit to other vendor's products.

I think that is very short sighted, as cross sales have to be good for all the vendors in the medium term.

I'm pretty sure it's this one -

Kim TaeYeon Character and Hair for Genesis 8 Female

- with a custom shader.

The fringe and rear can be styled identically, but the front part of the side cannot be shortened and styled like the promo photo. Other than that one difference, I can't tell the two apart. The shader included has thicker strands on the texture as well but you can get 95% of the way there.

If it's not that one, it's a derivative.

I don't think it's the kim-taekon hair as it doesn't have separate front hair, only "outhair" that goes all around and to the front. I'm trying with Matilda Hair :

But now I'm getting a weird bug where the black opacity still casts shadows. WTH ?
It's also doing some ugly angles. Maybe I can add a dforce modifier to it ?

Looks like SP Hair 013, Matilda hair, or Classic Bob Hair that has been tweaked by the vendor for the promo, could be wrong of course. Has noone contacted the vendor to ask?

Browsing rarestone's products again I came acroos CO Ichigo and Ichigo Hair for Genesis 8 Female(s) which kind of looks similar. Then again it could be Hann Mei Short...
My head is spinning.

I really think the closest is Matilda Hair. But it could also be a combination of hairs.

I can't find SP Hair 013, not sure if it was ever posted here.

I think you're right it does look a lot like Matilda hair, probably tweaked and photoshopped.

SP Hair 013 isn't out in the wild as far as I know.

This hair is now released. Our mystery is solved:) Its new product in daz called Minto hime bob.

It's weird it took this long for the vendor to release it. Maybe they were still working on it and had other projects prior to it.
