Yep. Who needs proper health care and food other than rice and fish to be happy. My suggestion is sell all your property. Send me the money and Ill get my wife to set you up a place there. My wife can set you up with a hut about 40 minutes from a small city there. She can send over some friends to teach you how to farm rice. You can roughly make about $3000 every 3 months if you put significant effort into the field.

    @d0gg0d,
No. I spoke to Hunter and Monk a while back and they've agreed to remove his items if someone tries to share them. Like Sade from 3D Shards, he's one of the not-greedy good guys who makes amazing items for a fair price. He lets others sell on his site and only charges a small amount for bandwidth. While we're pirates, we support these small, independent creators.

Always though sickleyield sounded like a decent person.
Always thought stonemasons content was excellent and reasonably priced for what you get.
Any reason these haven't went on the respect me list?

@d0gg0d, I didn't think we had an actual list, it's more a silent agreement? The stipulation is also that the creator him/herself has to ask.
I agree about Sickleyield. I might talk to her via another profile and suggest she drop in to our server. I may even already be friends with her on Discord.

A set of "guidelines" might be in order

Political narrative? You mean gathering public opinion before the war begins. Anyone with one eye open knows what these entertainer v-loggers are trying to achieve. If enough dummies dance to their tune we might see nukes flying before the year is out.

I don't know how you inferred my sources to be "entertainer v-loggers". Might I suggest that you be more prudent before assuming anything about others. But anyways, here are some of the sources that I use:

    https://www.youtube.com/@ChinainFocusNTD
    https://www.youtube.com/@ChinaObserver0
    https://www.youtube.com/@chinainsights4458
    https://www.youtube.com/@TheEpochTimesNews
and of course the humorous Chris Chapel from https://www.youtube.com/@ChinaUncensored

All these sources have more than several hundred thousand followers. They either provide independent journalism with facts, figures, dates, locations, names of people or are based on other reputable news sources like Reuters.

Some of these channels have existed since 2012, others like 2020 (around the pandemic), so they are not about "gathering public opinion before the war begins".

Edit: Forgot to clarify that by political narrative I meant the party's narrative. Since they are largely a single party system now, any distinction hardly matters, so I used them interchangeably in my previous post.

What makes you think that it has to be politically motivated especially in a global capitalistic economy?

The lack of transparency by their own official media drives their own citizens (and anyone interested) to these channels. Let me give you an example.

Try searching for "floods" in their official Global Times channel on YouTube. All you will find are single digit count of short videos highlighting the flood relief effort which is nothing but their own state sponsored propaganda which suppresses any disaster news to prevent the government from being held accountable. Now do the same search in any of these channels and see how much information you get. How else would you explain the political agenda behind this?

I am talking about the news here, not some blogger's personal opinion which can be challenged for political alignment. As long the information is true, comprehensive and accurate, does it really matter who funds it?

In democracy, we use to say that the success of a good democracy relies on the strength of its opposition. This is a principle that reaches far beyond any political outlook (democracy or not). Even a communist state needs to hold the leaders accountable, whether it is through internal opposition (which I doubt exists anymore) or through mass media. Suppressing the media to avoid accountability is a sign of weakness and vulnerability. Nationalism should be about strengthening the government by holding it accountable, not hiding its inefficiencies from the world. I see these Youtube channels as merely tools to that end.

Research enough and you might find out theres a bit of truth behind propaganda/BS.

If it weren't for video of students staring down tanks, documentation of activist suddenly ceasing to exist, people that escaped speaking out in interviews we may not know wtf is really going on.

People will deny millions of Jewish people died in gas chambers and try to convince you the Earth is flat. Why exactly wouldn't you believe them? Were you a prisoner or are you an astronaut? Are you relying on TV, books and other people to form your views of reality? Some people still believe the moon landing was staged.
I cant prove them wrong. Pick whatever reality you feel calms your nerves. I choose to believe the world is a lot more fkd up than rainbow sprinked cupcakes

Meh. Gen Z is much smarter than my generation in this aspect. I was taught work over mental health. Who cares if you kill yourself early, you NEED TO WORK!
Gen Z is now putting they're mental health above the work culture I was raised in.

Gen Z are raised in an age where people cant decide what restroom to walk in and are told they can be anything they want to be when they cant. I seriously doubt they will grow up mentally stable.

Based on current trends Id say most are already damaged goods

They forgot to add to the skit when 14 yr olds walked into schools with ARs, children listened to drag queens read books on anal rape during story time, CEOs destroyed long standing IPs and businesses with DEI, but Im sure theyll look back on those as the good ole days.
