I have come across a mystery that's driving me nuts and need to work out how i managed to achieve this.

Without paying attention somehow I created a wearable preset that loaded the clothes, the glasses, the hair and also the figure.

I didn't think it was possible to make a character load up with the wearable preset.

Ok so here is what happens .......I open a new empty scene and i click on the wearable preset and after a while loads up as if it were a scene and loads everything that was on the figure when i made the wearable preset.

So I have spent days trying to make another one that will load up with a figure but time after time its fails.

I have no idea what options I selected when first making the wearable that also loaded the character.

Was this just a freaky glitch or can this be done.
    Thanks for any help.

It sounds to me like you must have saved it as a scene?
A wearable preset usually requires a character to load it to.

Just like Eelgoo, that's what i'm also thinking. Maybe you saved that wearable preset as a scene. (Or maybe a scene subset)

In your post, you didn't specified how and where you were fetching that same wearable preset. Are you using the smart content tab ? Or the content librairy tab ? What are you exactly doing and where are you clicking ?

Its got the green "wearable" tag showing in the icon so its not a scene subset.

Plus i can load it straight into an existing scene without being asked any questions.

Its got me scratching my head. I think that the glasses being a prop that is also part of the wearable preset may have something to do with it.

What would be the best way to read whats being loaded as the preset is being executed. Then i could see exactly whats going on.

i would upload the part of the log file from when i first launch the wearable but its 2088 lines and i dont think it would be good to spam something as big as that but i will give the first few lines.

The strange thing is that it does not show as being a .duf file when its launched.

heres a few lines of when its first clicked
