This is my first port of a Character to Reallusion's Character Creator 3.2 (which was fast, also, Textures auto-loaded!)
Model = Victoria 8 HD
Hair = OOT Claudia Hair (also exported)The skin is the original one, but the make up and the eyes are from CC3's SkinGen (easy to use and loads of customization options.
Render time = 2 seconds (I really went insane on the ultra options, I am talking about SubD 3 on everything, including the hair, and 4k textures for the skin, which was the original from V8).
Also, this is in HD format (1080x1080 pixels) [Click on the "Load Full Resolution"]

i don't see the effects at all of you using 16K textures or max SubD, I firmly believe Genesis characters cannot go beyond a certain set SubD limit, even if this was SubD 10, it still looks like SubD 1 or 2, lacks way too much detail for SubD 10 if were talking max SubD here.
Also her Cornea's are off, so i'm not really convinced of CC3+ it's capabilities here of rendering ultra high quality characters.
This is probably not you, but simply said, Genesis characters having a simple geometry rather than a complex one.
January 23, 2021 at 8:42 PM #1660737that would be a much better example, yet, i don't see much of a improvement here over DAZ Studio, other than the render time.
Reason for that is because as far as i remember, and since i last used CC, it renders with Iray just like Daz Studio.
though, my point still stands, neither Daz, CC nor Genesis can archieve a result like this:

not my work, this is the work of Luc Begin, but for this, you need to alot more than CC, Daz Studio and Iray.
January 23, 2021 at 10:08 PM #1660749IMO the real godly thing between DAZ/CC3+ is when you export any character to CC3+, you have the glorious SKingen there (and HeadShot too). Tested it a couple times and works marvelous. Changes a lot the realistic features of your char (which could be good or bad depending what you are aiming for) and the render time is way less but if you don't mind to wait for render times, DAZ Vs. CC3 should be equal.
Of course with CC3+ you can import your own textures or make your own and if you are a Substance user, well, you can do almost everything there.
But well, I want to see more renders of Legolas18 (and testings) :).
