Not a big problem but is it normal for your Content Library Icons to disappear after you save a scene? If I save a scene without having the Content pane active and switch back to that pane I have no icons visible, and have to mimimise the screen and back again and switch subfolders to get them to come back. When I save with the Content library open the problem doesn't occur. Maybe something to do with having my content on an external SSD.
Not new and I've experienced this ever since I started using DS.... all the versions. I don't have to restart because I can fix it easily as mentioned above. It's just annoying. I'm now in the habit of not saving unless the Content Pane is open, if I remember to.
I looked on the Daz forum and I'm not the only one - "I need to minimize, maximize Daz Studio, click another tab, then click "content library" for the icons to reappear."
I did a test and found that if I save to C drive there's no problem, but when saving the same scene to SSD it reappeared. So it's definitely SSD related. Not a big problem so I'll just have to live with it.Definitely not new. That post was from 2015. It does seem to be rare however because I couldn't find much on it at all. Has this been on multiple computers/operating systems, or multiple "new" installs of DAZ? I assume since it's on SSD, it's not been terribly long. I was just wondering if it might be a system issue unrelated to DAZ. You might try searching more generally for a solution. If not, hopefully someone else has solved this that can help. Good luck

On at least 4 different PC builds, Win 7 to 10 and every DS version from 4.9 on. Not sure if I had the problem with different SDD drives but I think so, at least two since I started with DS.
As I said the problem is a minor inconvenience and probably not worth the time tracking down what is causing it.
