transitioning from sitting to standing

having issues trying to get that exact moment when the character is in-between a sit and standing pose, any ideas would rock thank you.

I assume you're doing a timeline simulation so could you not stop it at the frame you want?

animations in the timeline always transition weird for me so I am trying to create my images without using them. It is just a moment when I want my character to be startles and caught mid move

Yeh I tend to get unsatisfactory results with stopping the timeline.
You mean something like this?

no I mean with legs bending wrong and arms backwards. like they are gelatin and not people. Also snarkiness is not needed. Just asking a question here.

oh I am sorry, miscommunication there, I thought you were showing me how easy you were able to do it without the weirdness. yes that is exactly what I am looking for. (the first pic not the second)
