You don't have to put it into a list, or anything? Just zip up the actual torrent files, and put that zip on Mega. Nothing more is needed.

That way, one could download the zip, and either just put the whole folder / set of files into a torrent client, or pick the ones that would fit.

    Update on this project.
OK, whilst searching through these archives that I just recently found I came across something like 15.5Gb of Daz stuff that I'd already download and kept all the .zip files to. I think I'll probably post those first. I'am not going to split these into categories and I am not going to make a list, I'd be here forever if I did. All I'm prepared to do is split them up and zip them together and post them up for download here so it will be your choice if you want to take them and look what you've got.
Unbelievably during my search for this stuff I have now also come across 15 DVD's where I have already copied most of this stuff to after downloading from the torrents....
All in all I'm totally guessing, but there must be something like 7Tb of this stuff.
Someone suggest a file host that you're all happy with using and I'll try to start posting some of this stuff tomorrow.

There's an easier way to make a list of the torrents than typing them all out.

Go to the folder containing the torrents, hold Left Shift, then right click the mouse, go down to "Open Command Window Here" and type (or copy paste):

    dir > filename.txt

(where "filename" is whatever you want to call it)

There will be a lot of junk info for the purpose of a list, date and time info, how big the file size is, etc. But it would probably take less time to make a list that way than manually typing in everything.

Thanks for that nobdy, I think I'll start off by posting the some of the stuff that I already have in .rar form first and leave the torrent stuff until a later date, that way people will not have to sit hoping that the torrent is still live.
The stuff that I've found on the DVD's is pretty much what I've collected over the last 4 years including stuff that I've actually bought from various places, plus of course these .rar will be easier for me to list because it says on them what they contain, where as some of the torrent names are a little obscure as to exactly what they are.
I also may have to use several different file hosts because some of them limit the size you can upload.
I should be able to start posting some stuff during today and I'll start a thread in 'Free Stuff' when I get around to it.

    No problem. =)

Mega.nz is a good(ish) place to post stuff. 15gb of space (50gb when you first sign up, but after a month it drops to 15 so best not to put more than 15gb in there)

If you're going to host the items as individual downloads, you should post them to the blog rather than the free section, more people will find them that way. And do a search to make sure they aren't already posted.

However, if you're going to bundle the items in archives, then, um... I guess that's up to you where to post them. =D

Mega's 50 GB doesn't get reduced. You'll still keep access to the 50GB you upload, you'll just not be able to upload anything NEW above 15GB until you either pay or reduce below 15GB.

    As for the dir-listing, do

dir /B > list.txt for just filenames (and directory names)

    @jon157uk
as for your uploads (I saw some of them in the Free section) - make sure you do NOT upload stuff that is already on the site as paid downloads - that is NOT cool, if you do, as you take away earnings from the previous uploaders.

Ahhh yes, I see. That is something I hadn't thought about.
I certainly haven't got the time on my hands to sit here sorting through hundreds of folders, zipping them up, posting them then putting them up on the site and now also searching through every item already listed just to make sure I don't duplicate someone else's post, so with that in mind I'm probably better off not doing it.
I'll just leave the torrents there and if people want them they can get them.

People rebundle stuff here all the time and take credit for others uploads. I say, name it "old stuff" bundle and post a linj to it in the points section. Thus way you earn some pounts for your effort. Say its a bunch of old mixed stuff and if yoy want to take a chance spend 50 points and browse the files.

This way purchasers have no idea if its already posted and roll the dice. 50 points for a chance at one old hard to bet item is worth it.
