@coolcat Awesome! Loved your use of "The Hunger". I've been experimenting with that character as well.

@miarka Breathtaking! Very cool and original use of the prop. Did you have to manipulate the mesh to get it wrapped around the witch's fingers? The expression is very sultry.

@mysticfortune Very nice! I can almost envision the body of the creature that owns the tentacles within the bubbly slime.

@virtualtiger Also cool! Did you compare notes with Mystic? I like how your images are so similar, yet tell completely different stories. I think your witch needs to go back to bewitching school because her concoction is getting out of hand!

@dikeger Very cool and creepy image. Reminds me of a horror film from the 50s or 60s. The slime looks very photoreal.

Thanks @robf4g210 I knew I wanted a sense of depth, so constructed objects in the background, middleground and just the open door for the foreground but without DOF it just felt flat and when I finally found the settings and played around with them you couldn't recognise it was really a door. Using the kid as a frame to look over his shoulder and actually have a focus for the Monstah!(tm) to look at I thought worked really well, it circulates the focus continually in the image. Also my first full render! 😀

@robf4g210 : Actually I just used a pose from the set and parented the prop to the hand. After that, I kept the hand pose and chose another pose and tweaked it. Unfortunately, I'm very bad at posing, so almost all the poses I use are out-of-the-box.
