I'm the weirdo on architecture, then. I don't really buy much architecture. Instead I get (not pirated) freebie architecture elements I like from a gorillion different sites, import them (or convert as necessary first), then texture them to taste. Often I have to re-map them, but that's not too much of an issue. I save the result in DS as a scene, and it's there when I need it later.
As for the DAZ/Poserverse? I do agree that the works will eventually collapse. It won't go all at once, though. Renderosity will probably go first, but that will temporarily feed the others. DAZ will collapse last. It's not the company Dan Farr and Chris Creek founded, but it is still the strongest of them all, and will take the longest to die. Funny thing is, I would not be surprised if DAZ' final act would be to release DAZ Studio on Github under some open source license just to keep it alive. That, or some bright soul will make a Blender plugin that mimics DS and uses DS content.
I'm amazed that it's lasted the 25+ years that it has to be honest. Big irony is, it all began because of the persistence, creativity, and stubbornness of the user community refusing to let Poser die.
