Trying to be polite as possible, but could people maybe take note of when a poster puts this in?
I understand the community is very thankful but getting copious amounts of needless emails can be a bit frustrating.

Agreed, if you want to say thank you or ask a question then send back a separate PM.

I never use multi posts to avoid this.
Instead I work through the request thread sending an individual post to each requester.
Using copy & paste, it doesn't take much longer than tagging everyone in a single post.
