No worries. Whatever way works best for you. I got a 1070 back in October and its cut down massive time, but still, more people more intensive.
As well, delete EVERYTHING thats NOT in the scene if possible. Just because the camera doesn't see it, the computer still does and its more resources taken. And hiding objects doesn't matter. Its still there.
Also, you could leave the floor and delete the bar, or, render with people on the left, then render with people on the right. Its all about figuring out the best way for you and your rig..
