Like the lighting in first one.

Look at the feet in the second one and she is floating a few inches above the shadow.

I usaly don't work with a floor and then the floating feet are always a problem.
The solution is ofcourse: use a floor...., but then the effect is gone.

I'm still looking around for a good solution. someday I'll find it for sure.

camera angle. If the camera was a bit higher the gap would be hidden. Ive had and still do have shadow issues with the ground.
However it adds a lot of realism when you nail it.

First one I'd like to have seen a bit more light on the face, you could turn her head into the light a bit more without affecting the overall pose.

Second one I agree with DOGGOD re the floating foot but to me she looks like she's about to fall over, you also need to either show more of her right hand/arm or hide it altogether, at first glance she look like a Vulcan 😀
