Those rain planes are tricky to get right and I like how you've used it in this pic. The same goes for fog planes but they're even tricker.
I think a plain reflective water plane might have worked better for the ground than trying to show splashes/ripples. The lighting and sky looks great.
The scene is quite realistic IMO - a normal London day 🙂 brings back memories.
    ps. love the cat

"...I doubt a plain water plane would keep the scene lively."
I guess you could use a normal map to rough-up the water plane a bit.

This scene must have taken quite a while to construct. Personally I think the blue is a bit overwhelming.

Everything looks so as if everything is pinned in place. As if everything is frozen. All the props are lined up in a row. There's no life in this render. Try moving things around a bit. Lamps, flowers, etc. The background is great and the camera position is well chosen. And what Frank says... too blueish. I still think the last render is still too blueish... But who am I? I just rushed through the art gallery. Have a nice one.

Oh, I'm terribly sorry for putting you on an edge. That wasn't my intention. I just wanted to express my opinion, but if you find that rude, I can't help you.

I really liked what you did with the Grovebrook Park scene nahixoc. The sci-fi one could easily be changed by moving things around a bit, it wasn't bad and I think Luca offered some constructive ideas. Part of being an artist is dealing with criticism.

That was not mere criticism, that was downright trashing. Enjoy the 99% of woman standing like this or woman lying like that promo-style replicas that overflow this forum.

And by the way, life? This is a representation of the strict dispositions of the top hotels in the world which have placement maps measured with a ruler to the closest millimeter, with a view of the most sterile and deadly area you can imagine, right next to Earth below them, minuscule, which is the only spot with life that humans know of. As stated in my original post, this is a work in progress: the lonely character in the middle was planted there just so I wouldn't post the empty scene, as I am working on the final piece with snubbing characters looking down on the plebe. To complete the effect, I added two puppets as singer and pianist. As for the colors, I have deliberately chosen cold colors, in this instance chrome, white and blue for this atmosphere. The second picture was toned down from royal blue to a dark midnight blue and the light was toned down. But yes, it is a blue scene, and if you don't like that color, there is nothing I can do for you. Perhaps people should start by trying to understand what an artist is doing before donning the beret and waving that scarf. This is an amateur, pirate website where people share their pieces for fun and sense of community, not the Prado.

@ Frank , this was not for you. The carpets were really too bright, so were the lights. And your comments felt part of a conversation.
