I was all set to do some spider renders and realized he needs some silk to shoot around.

I have got the G3F spiderweb but thats not suitable for the classic shots of swinging from building to building.

    Any ideas ?

thanks tony i already tried that product and it doesn't give me what im looking for. The straight strands just look to weak, i have tried many things with that product to. Its great for ghost stuff and also theres the iray cobwebs product but thats dforce and not what im looking for.

The g3f spiderwebs that i do have has 1 web prop that is perfect but it seems to only be useable in 1 position.

In the past i have used a water pouring splat prop I got from somewhere that could be stretched and so I modded the texture and it looked really cool but that was a long time ago and have since lost it somewhere in with my kit bashing collection.
I might look into maybe modding a rope prop, im still experimenting.

Kre@tionz I wouldn't have a clue how to do something like that in photoshop. Are you talking about drawing in the web being shot out?

Yes, and I am sure there's some type of Photoshop brush that you can use or just paint the web in yourself.

sickleyields product = squirts splats and splashes. That is pretty close to the effect that i am looking for.
It has that water pistol kind of stream, with a good looking splat end.
I want a thick looking rope type web with that splat sticky look at the end. Just needs that spidery look to the texture. Im messing with that now.

As i have said before I would like to use it but It does not sit in the bounding box level and the gismo tool is not central. So when i stretch it, it goes all out of shape, its not following the axis.
Is there a way to get the prop to be level in the box, instead going from corner to corner.
and also how can i get get that gizmo to be moved to the middle?
