    The Storm

    A render I did for my son's birthday. He's an atmospheric scientist for a federal govt lab near Chicago and has chased many a storm in his day. It took me four years to find a decent tornado model.

    On Vacation

    I kinda threw this one together for the heck of it.

    With the Eyes of a Child

    I'f never done anything like this one before, and may never again. RH did submit it to their CGI whatever the place is gallery.

    I'm also working in Poser on a tarot deck. I'd switch to DS but I bought a ton of Steampunk stuff years ago, plus the render engines are glaringly obvious. I'll post a few cards sometime.

    Nice tornado indeed, any change of uploading it here?

    @Gaver

    Nice Tornado - you can feel the atmosphere and tension.

    Also liked the pool render.
    Looks like Mr & Mrs Clause taking a well earned break [Goldi H and Kurt R] 🙂

    Love the Clause’s in the pool. Mr. Claud giving off some Kurt Russell vibes, lol. Which product are the cocktails from?

    Her cocktail is from here: https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=144430

    I haven't shared it and vol 1 because I'm leery of it getting taken down. Anyone who wants it or both items can PM me.

    Or, this would work just as well: https://zonegfx.com/cheers-drink-tray-and-drinks/

    Wow, love the props you used. Those cocktails are nice. Are the liquids in the glasses poseable? E.g. liquid levels, tilt, etc?

    @Diviniren

    No, they're not. Couldn't find anything for DS that was although I'm sure there are some old Poser freestuff items that are. LK does put out some nice products and I buy so many that, like I said, I'm leery of takedowns.

    All good. I might pick it up on a sale. Thanks for sharing your renders!

    All the renders are so different and each one is really well done. Ask you son if he thinks the Chinese balloon is a spy one or a meteorological one.

    Funny you should mention the balloon. Weather Twitter was all over it. It was a spy balloon and the weather people were having a ball tracking it. He related that to us this morning and I told him that his people were probably better than the CIA. He definitely got a kick out of the whole episode.

    What separates a spy balloon from a weather balloon? Even so, it's not as if China was the first to do it. “Gross violation of Soviet Air Space… incompatible with normal relations between states.” Where did I hear that statement recently LOL.

    Probably equipment and authorization. As for the rest, that's sort of what I told Bobby - we're just as guilty of it. Some Republicans wanted it shot down, but the feds decided for safety reasons i.e. debris hitting the ground, not to. Bobby said it flew over some military bases, but he didn't think that it got any more information than what could be gotten by satellite. He thought it was a lame attempt by the Chinese to get info and I agree.

    I just found the whole event comical.
