    @Legolas18

    Hair is not the problem (at least mesh based masked hair), because any 3d hair(shader) can be used with daz characters in UE4, not just daz hair.

    Clothing is only a problem with wide clothing like some coats or long dresses, because the automatic weight transfer fails in spots too far away from the body and smooth manual weighting between the legs or at the armpits is difficult to achieve.

    With the right lighting setup (esp. static lighting) daz chars with just the standard PBR setup look soo good and in UE5 it's just awesome (dynamic lighting with lumen, although lumen still seems a little bit glitchy and unstable).

    @pooper

    I remember those sites well when I was still using Poser.
    Poserworld is still about but I think all the Japanese sites have been gone a long time.

    Shame 🙁

    I wonder if they have any other programmer at all besides Richard who seem to be spending more time reading every post on the forum than actual coding.

    To move forwards daz should go open source and allow users to tinker with extra functionality as well as stopping to squeeze every bit of extra cash from everything.

    Every new daz version has totally random and strange features implemented but there is not even any discussion on the forum of what users want and every time anyone post any feature requests or suggestion richard immediately tells to send feature request ticket (which will be ignored) and shut up.

    Richard? I don't believe he's writing code for DAZ Studio. Also, DS does have an SDK that is freely available for anyone with code skills to tinker with, and they exposed a LOT of the inner workings from what I see. Many of the features DS has were once add-ons (example: D-Form, which was built by a frustrated user who wanted Poser magnets in DS).
