It's hard to keep up what is new because here are so many reposts. 3d-load.net seems to be on vacation for forever
Are there any similar sites to 3d-load.net that have mega and googledrive?
Shadowcore.ru have either Mega or Google Drive, there usually 2-3 days delay of item appear here (zonegfx) and there (shadowcore,I think it is fair,and a discretion of them to give the uploader from this site to get some point first), also many of their old stuff is dead and they are not bother to reupload it
3d-load takes stuff from here and posts it within an hour or two. It's like his full-time job to rip off zone and repost to his site. I offer points here to encourage sharers to get stuff out in the wild. 3d-load is a leech of the community imo in that he does not offer any new content. It's funny when his customers ask for him to get stuff and he either waits until it's posted here or comes here and offers points to see if he can get someone here to share it.
There are persistent rumors in other less well known sites that the admin of 3d-load is either a mod of perhaps the admin here. If that is the case, then I'll use it more and turn my ad-blockers off because I think Hunter deserves any money he can make from all he's doing. But I doubt that's true.
You wild conspiracy theory might not be so farfetched Ulysses.
Although it is only also a wild guess on my part, i also think that 3d-load is in reality just a well disguised "undercover back-up" website of the Zone. Just in case something terrible wrong happend here.yay https://3d-load.net/ is back in action again :D.
It is sort of funny, I check 9 other sites every morning, hoping they have something that is not on here, has not happened yet. There are things on here that other sites do not post for a day or two.
I think the Zone is the Hub of all the DAZ sitesIt is not just a rumor, There a time where Dragon sent his stuff to be posted to three admins of Zonegfx, then suddenly 3d-load have it first even with Dragon Mega link intact (that proof the item is one of Dragon should post) and then it is appear at Zonegfx later because of delay. One of three Zonegfx admins is the admin of 3d-load,but we don't know which one is him.
@ethiopia: load3d will go to gcpeers or gfxpeers and get their FBX and vray stuff and start posting that in the interim. at least, that's what he's done in the past.
@deepedia: I'm still suspect of that. when he got shut down a couple of years ago when he was on one of his month long vacations, the admin of load-3d was panicked. I don't think the seasoned folks here would be freaking out as much as he did. Also, when he had db problems earlier this year, he started grasping at straws to fix it, reaching out to the community at large. Again, not something the zone staff would do.
@tysim1966: I have never found anything (other than torrents) that didn't originate here over the past couple of years. kudos to Hunter for figuring out how to keep it all going.
