Hello all! I'm new-ish 'round here. Hope you're all staying as safe and sane as is possible in this, our disappointingly-pedestrian apocalypse. 😉
My question isn't really a 3D-modeling-related one at all - more of a ZoneGFX site interface matter. That being, is there somewhere we may set our local time zone so that the displayed times for postings - not just here in the forum but also in PMs and the blog - can appear adjusted for one's own locale? If there is such a thing, I am failing me Search check, clearly.
If there is not, could there be? I realize most wouldn't particularly want such a setting to be visible to other members of the community, given the nature of much of what goes on here, but I must admit to finding it a bit tedious to have to do mental arithmetic every time I want to figure out how recently something was published.
the date and time you see, is the date and time of the server the page is running on. so you can't really change this on user base, because this would mess with the file system on the server. but it's not completely impossible to achive something like a time localisation on user base. despite i doubt anyone of the admins would mess with the source code for this reason, because you would need to implement a script that would change just the displayed time in your browser, based on a setting you also would have to implement on the site. to much hassle for such a gimmick the majority don't care about.
