Scheduling Posts

Just curious -- is there a good reason that I would want to schedule a post for a later date?

Another thing I wonder about are downloads that are zip files within .rar files nested within another zip file, etc. I don't know -- maybe these are things everyone should be doing? Is there a valid purpose?

There are multiple threads here that discuss these issue.
Last question first - zipping many times doesn't reduce the file size much so if that's the reason it not a good one.
The reason for delayed posting is for several reasons. IMO the best one is altruistic, ie. allowing some time for the PA to earn money from a product before it goes out into the wild.

I've noticed some ppl are scheduling a post for a later date for products that have been on the site before and you can get them on other sites so why delay the post here ? that just seems crazy to me.
