Sales on CGtrader for daz stuff (edit : sales is now over)

It doesn't matter about your English, mine is far from perfect (as it's not my first language either)

I never practically bought on CGtraders,
just some props that I quickly "converted" to daz (as i could)
You are probably right about 3dmax and other products.
You certainly have more experience than I do.

I don't think there are any problems with the Daz products on CGtrader.
It seems the same artists (in my example: Danny3D is on renderhub and cgtrader)

They have some good marvelous designer stuff, I also bought some props from there. But I moved to artstation for those kind of items.

For whatever it's worth I think cgtrader and renderotica are run by the same parent company. One is their Rated G through PG13 stuff and the other Rated PG13 through XXX stuff. The webpage looks and feels identical with just a different color scheme. Plus they have a large crossover of items. Not that it makes anything better or worse, just something I've noticed.

@baconsmoke I think you are getting mixed up with CGbytes.com. That is much the same company as Renderotica. CG Trader is a completely different site.

@plebby Oops, you're right. I was confused. Something that happens often.

I'm one and done with CGTrader.

The first product I got was unfortunately broken. I asked for a refund for the broken product, they declined. A bag of rocks could tell that the product was broken and they still refused to give me a refund.

So I issued a chargeback and never went there again. It's sad because some of the products there do look very nice but are broken.
