Safe to give DAZ internet access when having tons of content from here?

Hi guys, especially with Genesis 8.1 released now I thought about updating DAZ since I haven't done so in a long time.
Over this long time however, I've downloaded a metric ton of assets while blocking internet Access for all DAZ programs (for obvious reasons). So now I'm asking if it's safe to re-enable internet access and update DAZ even though I have loads of their assets without having bought them...

I updated to daz 4.15 some days ago and had no problems

can we use daz with out internet Access i just got a new pc and
would it be best to download daz and then load some models i have there
and then load models from here and then go offline , or still have it daz live and the internet Access still ? can they tell ?

to the best of my knowledge, they have no real way of tracking if what you have is pirated or not. Sure, they track what you purchased, but who's to say you didn't 'acquire' something from a discarded PC (or hard drive)?

Better safe than sorry. I use DazStudio only offline and use DIM as an installer offline as well. Blocked all applications in my firewall.
