Thank you for the detailed technical analysis. It's good to read from someone who doesn't just talk into the air, but has an idea of what a good composition looks like.

As for Bond's attitude and facial expression, I don't share your opinion, because I didn't want to recreate sexist movie actors. This is my idea of a real Bond. And the two women are not massaged, but by his left and right hands. This is why he put his hand on the shoulder. I agree with the elbow thing, but I didn't want her hand to go in her hair or on her waist.

    Livingpixels had some good advice
I would like to elaborate at bit on 1 point

The perfectly centered and level shot also feels somewhat lifeless. It could help to have it a bit more askew and off centre, and perhaps with a few props to balance things.

In photografie there is a thing called "rule of three"
as you see in the pic with the red lines.
To place an object in on of the corners ( depending on the pose) can make a pic more interesting.

Then there is the green line.
It indicates where the eye is drawn to.
In your pic it will be the shoreline than kind of "pulls" your eye in.
think of a road with trees on the side, all lines will go to the same point
So if you would make a pic of that, your eyes will be drawn to the point on the horizon where these lines meet.

In this case the eye is drawn away from the subject, so maybe it would have been smarter to put them in the upper left part of the beach, but editing was a quicky because pics say more than words.

Thank you gaver. I'm not a beginner and I'm know what is the rule of three. And I don't like your edit. It's not a studio portrait or an artistic scene. This is a summer vacation group scene what someone photoshooting in the center.

"Consulting the rules of composition before taking a photograph, is like consulting the laws of gravity before going for a walk."

    - Edward Weston

"The so-called rules of photographic composition are, in my opinion, invalid, irrelevant and immaterial."

Do You Really Know How To Break the Rule of Thirds?

For a holiday snap, which this is, I think 95% of people would have the subjects centred right or wrong so it looks pretty accurate IMO. Even great artists Edward Potthast (1857–1927) didn't strictly follow the thirds rule for groups. I guess he could have but it wouldn't have been any better. Best not to try to overthink your works according to rules.
