Hi, i'm wondering what the rules are for reposting dead content. Is anyone allowed to repost even if they aren't the original poster?
Look in the FAQ - it says 7 days, if there is no reply from the original host. I remember there use to be a thread which had a list of dead posts, to make it easy for people who wanted to host them.

These are free to repost (and wanted!)
I believe these posts don't appear here until the 7 days notice runs out, correct me if I'm wrong.
