If your post need replacing its probably a less expensive option than building a new fence. If you no longer need a fence theres no reason to waste money. At my old house my dog died and I no longer needed a fence. Eventually it fell into disrepair and rather than replacing it I took it down. Several of the posts were so weakened I could easily snap them at the base. If however I were to repost it, it might look something like this.
Even if you don't need a fence it may be worth keeping up. I think it makes the house look nicer, might be easier to sell and in some cases provides a slight margin of security.
@mich001 Your suggestions for how to understand your original post make it no more coherent than it was when you first posted it. However, I have re-read it, and, armed with the preconceived notion that I amuse you, I'm going to attempt to amuse you further. On those drives totalling over 400TB, is there anything that isn't iclone? Your posts are certainly plentiful, but they're all iclone, which, to most of us here, are probably about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle. Why don't you convert some of it to DAZ?
Obviously, you don't need the points; you've clearly got plenty of those, but you could post it in the custom content, correctly formatted, of course, to claim even more points that you don't need, and wouldn't it be nice to think you've posted something that someone might actually use? I am among the fathers of computing and only come here for fun during my last years devoted to animation,
Should be an easy task for someone with that background and spare time.
Common sense to me would dictate someone with such knowledge would have seen this was a Daz site and already have converted the vast majority of these items into Daz friendly files.
Someone less skilled, lazy or mostly uninterested in posting useful content would post their own interests or content easily accessible to them for a quick fix but, thats definitely not what I'm implyingI'm at an age I can only hope you reach; the rest is just nonsense 😉
It's amazing how easily a message can be misinterpreted... and apparently, computers and social media improve people... thanks for demonstrating that, I'll have something to laugh about for a long time in the void of the afterlife....

Considering the contradictory comments, I'm not surprised that spending more time chatting nonsense than making the effort to understand is your lifestyle.But as always on social media, 3 or 4 people don't make up the majority.

Oh well...@mich001 Firstly, you can't pretend "the topic isn't very important" when you've written a post that's so long it really should've had a TLDR at the bottom of it.
Now, as you've established, I can easily misinterpret messages, and, to be honest, I wouldn't have had a clue what you were on about if Maddy hadn't responded to your original post. So, my understanding is that you attempted to repost some inactive assets, and, in thrall to your namesake, you cut corners, and then you got a little miffed when the mods were having none of it. There's no harm in letting off a little steam, but if you're, dare I postulate, an Octogenarian, you really should have expected a little blowback.
Finally, where are we on the conversion to DAZ prospects? You weren't clear on whether that was a go/no-go. I can give you a list if you're struggling with where to start.
There are people interested in furry pron but that doesn't mean I'm going to start posting it. Ive got a few hundred art and photography books zipped up somewhere on my HD. I'm not planning to start uploading them individually.
As smart and wise as you pretend to be you should have come to the reasonable conclusion that this is mostly a Daz site. Have you looked at what is in the request section or did you just upload all the Icrap on your HD?As I have said quite a few times, whilst non Daz / Poser assets are allowed they are not the focus of the site.
Daz assets most certainly are.
I actually (really not just the abbreviation) laughed out loud and its not something I do often. I have a relatively dry and almost morbid sense of humor. I thought to myself while reading that, the person who does understand is the original poster.

What I do when I've had a dead post, which is something that I posted in the past - put an updated link in. No need for a "repost"
On the situation, where it is dead post from someone else and after at an amount of time - I'll repost it, if I have the asset. Have brought a few things that have been dead posts - which I should post at some stage.
