    Hey!

I have a question for people who store content on a secondary drive.

I recently hard to reformat to fix a video card issue, so totally fresh Windows 11 install. My "My Library" or content folder, with my custom file structure and stuff, was on a secondary drive that was left alone.

I reinstalled DazStudio and set that as a content Library destination but I get errors/files not found whenever trying to load anything now and also can't load my previous scenes.

Is there something I'm missing about making it recognize the content directory again? I know I had issues after a format before, but I somehow fixed it. I can't seem to figure it out this time!

So it took a couple hours of fiddling but it appears I have everything fixed!

I'm not sure which step fixed it, but I will list what I did in case someone else has this issue.

Uninstalled DazStudio > deleted the folders in AppData > reinstalled on my second drive where the My Library/Custom Content folder is

Backed up my Content > Deleted the content folder created by DazStudio installer > created a new folder and linked to it in Content Library

In Edit>Preferences>Content>Content Directory Manager under "Daz Studio Formats" I added the root folder, the parent folder, and the content folder.

At least one or a combination of these steps worked! I hope it helps someone else.

It was most probably this one:

"In Edit>Preferences>Content>Content Directory Manager under "Daz Studio Formats" I added the root folder, the parent folder, and the content folder."

When you install a new copy of DS, you have to configure it to find all the different libraries that you want to add. Otherwise, it will always just look to the default library on the C: drive for everything.
