This site is oriented to Daz / Poser related items.

I think you may well find what you are looking for on http://heroturko.cz/ or
    http://allday2.com

But DAZ/Poser related items are used quite frequently in/with other applications such as C4D, 3DS Max, Maya, Hexagon, Bryce, Vue, Photoshop, along with stand alone render engines. People do post content for other applications.
I believe in an earlier discussion some time back, we spoke of this and I think the majority of the consensus was if its 3D related, why not.

@littlepleasures there are those here that frequently use Maya, 3ds max, Hexagon. DAZ itself promotes Maya. Daz Studio isn't the beat all. Iray isn't the beat all for render engines either. Other programs offer alternatives to Iray.

if you don't like the conversation and don't have anything intelligent to say, there are other posts you can rudely chime in on.

No need to be snarky and rude

You can disagree and say that Maya, 3DS Max and others are "HIGH END" and not for the hobbyist. In the past sure, but not now. I'm not trying to argue, I'm only saying that they're not. I know a lot of "hobbyists" that use these programs and others, not just for rendering, but also for making their own props.
I'm not reading between any lines. I was merely stating reasons why people also use other programs such as Maya , Max, etc.

However, whos to say what the vast majority would jump into if given the chance. I can't and won't speak for the vast majority because I'm not them.
I do know that there are quite a lot of DAZ/Poser users that create art for a living. As well, DAZ promotes the selling of artists work also, by selling videos on how to create book covers, comics, indie films.

Promote= encourage to: use, buy, do something. They encourage Maya on their website so they promote Maya. Doesn't matter if its casual or "robust" .

People do use other programs, no matter their purpose, be it hobbyist or pro, and I dont see any reason not to have other useful programs here. Yes, this is predominantly DAZ/Poser, but its not restricted to DAZ/Poser items.

I didn't say everything under the sun. We were talking about stuff to be used with DAZ/Poser, not some green screen software or music creator. Bobs question was very valid because those programs are indeed used frequently by some users in conjunction with DAZ/Poser.

Nobody is saying that if Maya or Max were posted here that everyone would have to download it. 95% of whats shared here I don't grab. So there's no harm in posting Max, Maya, Vue, C4D, Photoshop, just like there's no harm in posting ZBrush. Just another tool for those who may want to use them.

@littlepleasures LOL I understand biases. I gotcha.. I've been an artist for almost 50 years. 3D about 21. Digital painting about 10. I do shows, conventions, pro artist panels etc. And since I'm a huge Star Trek fan and artist, I know most of the 3D modelers out there personally, because I use their models.

Back in the day when I was using Poser, (and I hated Daz because it sucked 10 years ago), you are absolutely right. Those other programs were high end. I came back to Poser figures and jumped into DAZ about 2.5 years ago. Since then, I've met a lot of users that, because of the better quality models/figures/dolls, from DAZ, they are using other programs and expanding. I see they are using them to render or to create background or environments, or their own models. From what I've seen, they are quite popular with other DAZ artists.

I agreed with you that its predominantly DAZ/Poser here. I'm saying there's no reason not to include other programs that artists can use with DAZ. I never said their content.
I personally don't have a problem or any issues, other than the fact that when someone mentions another program, people chime in with resistance and I don't understand. Same with people having an issue with others using Photoshop for postwork. I don't know. I don't get it. Its just another tool.

LOL, I have no idea about Hexagon. People use it. I think I opened it once and played around with it but didn't really get anywhere so haven't opened it since.

Agree with everyone else, if we start sharing the massively priced suites on here, more attention would be drawn to us.

F#cking pirate bay. Just go for the heavily shared ones. Works for me, even through nordvpn.
