Sorry if this is the wrong place but I'm having a problem with the Locker Room in DAZ as can be seen in these screenshots

Anyone know how I can sort this?
February 4, 2026 at 12:40 PM #2162452The 'File can't be found' problem is an old one with Daz.
Here's the latest post regarding this...
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/568991/file-does-not-exist-when-i-m-looking-right-at-it
...but there's been many others. Have a read through the various solutions (that don't work) then install everything manually as per the instructions in the stickie (sticky?) on top of this forum.February 4, 2026 at 1:09 PM #2162456had a read of that and still quite confused really
February 4, 2026 at 1:37 PM #2162461Check that you have the 'Data' folder in your install package & it has the data files within it.
February 4, 2026 at 1:50 PM #2162465first 2 images or the downloaded folder opened and the 3rd is how its installed in DAZ

February 4, 2026 at 2:57 PM #2162483You should extract the contents of the “Content” folder directly into your Daz library path (e.g.
C:\Users\username\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library or whatever).Currently everything is still inside the “Content” subfolder, so Daz can’t find it.
🙂
February 4, 2026 at 2:58 PM #2162484I see what your issue is.
If you look at your third screenshot you can see 'Content' folders listed.
Because of that you have your data folder installed at too low a level, so the data folder for the item concerned won't be read. Are you installing manually?
I always do, but you need to open the Content folder, select all & copy across to your 'My Library' folder, wherever you have that located.
Crosspost! 🙂

February 4, 2026 at 6:43 PM #2162529The DAZ Studio rules in simple terms:
•The contents of the 'data' folder must be precisely installed within 'data'.
•The contents of the 'texture' folder must be precisely installed within 'textures'.
•Any other model (hair, prop, environment, clothing, etc) may be installed wherever you please (organized is better), but the model files (.duf) require that 'data' and 'textures' be precisely where the model file expects to find them.Ultimately, with experience you can open the model file (.duf) with a text editor and alter the precise locations. But until then, maintain the default install locations as nested within 'content'.
