Pose animation help

Just downloaded daz after a long time away so looking for a little advice and help with poses and animation.

G8 + G9

When I apply a pose or animation it freezes Daz and I just get the ding, nothing else.
I have tried just apply, and selecting hip with no joy.

So any advice or help would be welcome.

You should check your Daz log file to see what's going on in the background.

Click on Help -> Troubleshooting -> View Log file.

If you are using the 'Smart content' tab to apply poses, clothes etc. Clicking the check box 'Filter by context' will filter your content to show only those things that are compatible with the character you have selected in the viewport. As trying to apply Gen 9 poses to Gen 8 characters wont work.

Also bear in mind that whilst it will do it, animation isn't Daz Studio's strong point.

Thanks for the advice guys. I found the problem and it was a very basic issue and easy solution.

Edit> figure> Limits> off ...

Like I mentioned it has been a while since I used Daz.
