    and I decided to go for something a little more substantial than my usual fair...

    A German BF-109 fighter doing an overflight on the USS Yorktown...

    (yeah, I know, Pacific theater vs European theater... screw that, couldn't find my Zero to use instead.)

    Waves on the water surface, but the water ist reflecting the clouds in the background like a mirror. Looks too unreal to me.

    Thanks for the suggestions, it's the first time I'd used that particular environment, so I had no guide for how it would look. I'll see if I can get it to "behave" like it should later.

    You are correct that Daz does not like a lot of geometry. I have WorldCreator and my exported hi-rez terrains do not agree with Daz.
