Has anyone here ever done any photogrammetry? I'm looking at shooting a series of images of an item on a turntable, then using Meshbox and a Blender plugin to make a 3D model (or point cloud) for eventual use in Studio. I got zero responses in our Discord server so thought I'd ask here.
I just finished separating an ancient condiment turntable (remember those?) from the top and wrote degrees around the base. It's now got a 20cm round top on it (old ceiling tile) and I rigged up a modified cardboard box to hold it on a collection of car parts in the garage (which I'm hoping becomes drivable this year) where I have perfect, even LED lighting. My wife has a nice collection of gorgeous heels (that she hasn't worn in many years...*sigh*) That I'm going to play with.
Yup, should be fun.
