Nice day for all Poser users. It's not a request but more a question about Paul and Pauline base free figures for Poser 11. I found a lot of seductive content for them at this and other sites but I miss these base figures. I know they were included into Poser 11 full package but I do not want to install all the huge new Poser 11 and all this content for these 2 packages. So if someone has Poser 11 installed with Paul and Pauline, please share them here as separate postings. If you know where else I can download them separately plese share a weblink! I found only torrents for all Poser 11 content with huge packs inside.
Thank you in advance for help.Are you trying to use them outside Poser? Unfortunately Poser People are in a compressed & encrypted format, OBZ instead of OBJ. To use outside, they need to be exported in FBX
I have the older Poser 2012 installed and can read and convert OBZ files, and as I remember, OBZ files can be unzipped manually. In short, conversion to more usable format is not a big problem, the main problem is where to find these freebie figures without all Poser 11. If you have it and can upload here, it would be great. And I'm pretty sure these separate packages exist somewhere in the web, but I'm an ever-unlucky googler.
Unfortunately I only have the installer, all 6GB of it. Really don't feel like trying to pry out 2 models from it. If it is possible, 7ZIP might be the Archive tool to do it with.
Oh, it's bad news. It seems that newer Poser may change the format of zipped files or something, I'm not quite sure because I've never updated my old poser from 2012, and use it very seldom. Although I hoped after a little conversion I will be able to use this couple and all related content in DAZ Studio. What was the name of that particular Poser content package which contains them? I found two possible ones - Clothed and Reference figures and Nude figures. Which one should I download and can I install this content addons to my old Poser without installing all the Poser 11 (in that torrent all content packages come as EXE installers.) If I get any luck, I'll try to pull them out and post them by myself.
For Poser, the protected content is installed by EXEs, same with base characters from Content Paradise.
The Primitives in Poser are either ZIPs/RARs or EXEs.
OK, so it means I need to install all Poser 11, just to install one or several its content packs with humans? I downloaded Poser 11 Nudes from a torrent for test but could not install it without installed Poser 11 (although I have Poser 2012 installed). The EXE installer is looking at first for installed Poser.exe but doesn't accept Poser 2012 exe in Program Files, when searching manually. I created new fake Poser 11 folder (Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 11\Poser.exe as I saw in one of Youtube videos. But it doesn't help, the content installer requires only real Poser 11. So their new figures are unavailable for older Poser. OK, I'll try to install Poser 11 and pick them out anyhow from its runtime.
P11 is touted as the most stable release, granted the Crack provided is setting off AV detections for the one posted here.
I'm absolutel agree with Ethiopia, by my own experience, Poser crashes too often to work comfortably and I chose DAZ at last. My version of Poser 2012 appears to be the most stable on my PC, so I don't want to replace it with Poser 11 so far. But I'd like to test these new figures and content and cannot find them anywhere so far - neither separate Pauline (base, not Pauline Plus), nor Paul. I seemingly managed to find the working torrent with Poser 11, but it is slow seeding and I cannt install all Posser yet. And I am looking for Poser content update 4, which has Paul figure within. If you have this Content Update, share it please, even in main blog postings! For me, it's another great advantage of DAZ Studio, that they made it free and all base Genesis essentials are available separately for free too. And all the rest morphs and addons can be downloaded all over the web. With Poser, it's a headache to find appropriate content for its figures, and figures themselves.
