I stopped using Daz3D many years ago. mostly because of life changes and, well DAZ has always been frustratingly buggy. I would love to do A.I. art but right now it is inaccessible with my current setup. So I opened up DAZ again.
I think a bunch of content somehow was deleted off my hard drive. But i had most of the main files and elements going back to Victoria 3. I quickly got back into the flow. Started to build my Content Directory. And remembered how frustrating the whole process of organization and using all the tools to fix the bad models and program.
I built 2 different directories, converted poses, kitbashed skins from Genesis 3 to put on Genesis 8. Has hundreds of morphs to make Genesis 8 look halfway real and usable. And that ole Daz3D frustration level kept rising. Then I tried Genesis 9. So I am building a 3rd new Content Directory focused around Genesis 9. I am enjoying the higher level of realism Genesis 9 has. So far, wrestling of too many morphs and too many bland characters or props that don't work is at a minimal. Hopefully i will feel the same after this weekend.
Genesis 9 is pretty, pretty good so far.
