@d0gg0d no judgement here, just wanting to try to calm things down and get back to what we're here for. There's been a lot of people grouching at each other lately, myself included. It's kinda bringing things down.
I just want to get back to how it was. Real fun.... FUN fun.
Im having great fun. I love the contest and even if people dont always agree with me im ok. Ive have friend for 20 years that dont always agree with me.
Id just like to see a good thing great. And getting slapped in the face daily with I dont give a Fk attitude and its ik because im a kid is BS.
If this kid was in public every eye would be on the parents wondering wtf is wrong with them.
My kid sure as hell woulnt act like this and expect to get away with it. IMHO thus kids been given the car keys and told by the police to go as fast as you want.
There's a big difference on the internet though... in the real world if someone's being annoying you can't do a whole lot about it. On the internet, if someone's being annoying you can just not read their topics.
If someone was constantly coming into other people's threads and spamming them with their own requests or whatever that's worth dealing with... If someone is making their own topics you can just not read them. If it's spam, report it to mods and move on.
If you constantly go into those threads and tell that person off, you're just as annoying as they are. You want change, you be the adult, report it, you don't add to the problem.
Reporting doesnt seem to work. So I guess your right on the ignore part. Yet I find that part difficult. I expect more from mods since Im not the only one with issues. I can only hope others will ingnore this problem and with luck it may go away. Yet Im normally a very pessimistic person and based on what Ive seen so far, im not holding my breath.
If there was an "Ignore" function, it would at least be a short-term solution to a long-term problem. I understand that Monk, Tomsk, Hunter, et al want to avoid any sort of conflict, but this is officially getting way out of hand.
My frustration is that there's a lack of listening on the part of the kid in question. I don't doubt he probably doesn't mean any harm or w/e, but his inability to listen -or unwillingness to- is not helping his case at all.
ETA: Also, it does appear that English is a second language to him: a quick google search reveals a DeviantArt page and that he's located in the Phillipines. (this is why you never use your full/real name anywhere, folks) Anyone here speak filipino?

Im under the opinion, if a country with near unlimited resources and top secret technology, along with highly trained hackers and military personnel wants to find you.
You are pretty much found unless you jump through dozens of hoops and are yourself highly skilled at such things.
Most are after the people running the hub and not the thousands or millions of users. So its a roll of the dice.
If youre talking about hackers using your personal info then Id agree.
