That's the standalone version. There is no plugin here. Read someone had the plugin, however it did not get posted ever. Could be grt if someone has a version that can be used without watermark.
Am also in need of the Octane plugin for Daz, i only have the demo version which is ok but many features are blocked.
Just because one bought the plugin doesn't mean he can/will share it freely. If the plugin isn't cracked first the licence will be deactivated once OTOY detects it's in the wild. Cracking requires specific skills and we are talking about a $579 software...
Please don't blame those who bought it and won't share it, they just don't wanna lose their $579.
There was a post from last year about the plugin, but it was never shared by person as the one who asked never gave away promised points, so I asked. No one is asking anyone to share their licences.
Its always a cracked version that is shared. Don't read too much into what is not there.That's precisely my point. If there was a cracked version it would be in the wild already because... well why would someone spend time cracking a software if not for sharing ?
@Hitesh, I checked the forum topic you mentionned. From what I understood there is a HUGE misunderstanding between people there.
1) No one is pretending having a CRACKED version to share there.
2) Herecles never promised 100 000 points or even a single point, he just said to HannibalL "Even if you had 100 000 points to offer you still wouldn't find it"I don't believe there is or will be any cracked version of this software, mostly because it's damn expensive and also because crack teams work on softwares that are widely used such as Call of Duty or Creative Suite. They just won't bother with a render plugin that would be used by maybe 500 or 1000 guys on earth. That's just my two cents heh...
Well may be its misunderstanding. But when someone posts that he can provide what will remove watermark, he has something whatever you may wanna call it to share with the person asking. These posts create an expectation that will not eventually be met. I do use the octane standalone but it is not so comfortable to use and I don't see as good results as Iray gives me (too damn slow). May be the export from DAZ are not so good or I am missing something
Well... if one can provide a working plugin, let's check it out.
@locololo : do you still have the octane plugin you were ready to share for 100 000 points ?If so, I personnaly offer 20 000. Now let's find 4 other guys ready to offer 20 000 and we'll have 100k points. Hitesh, are you in ?
