I disagree with the sentiment that everything needs to be posted public too. With some stores making attempts to track downloads and all that it's completely fine some people don't fill to be public on the blog.
All needed for requests are 500 points, which are gained so easily by signing in 5 days, filling a request or posting some assets yourself. Use daz artificer tool to repost a long gone request, it takes 1 minute.I send you a pm @5200north.
@thedamnthing, We fixed the tracking problem soon after it was discovered and now keep an eye out for any changes. Now that 'they' know that we know, we're being a lot more vigilant.
@ethiopia Yeah I've used the info to detrack all my uploads but I'm still careful in case they change something again. I'll post my stuff public eventually, just later in order to mask myself better and to give vendors more initial sales on new stuff 🙂
Increase the point cost for downloads to 500 as well as the payout. Rather than getting 25 get 250/500. The same points cost for a bounty. This means lurkers need to save up multiple days to buy an upload. People who share regularly will get tons of points. People who don't won't. This also might cut into leech sites that buy every upload here for 50 points then re-up them. This "should" up the incentive to share right?
I'd really rather just buy 5 old posts than recreate multiple bounties. Sure it's lazy but doubt I'm alone in just wanting to pay and go. I DL stuff I'd probably never request or search for.
