@Hunter pls help me :(....I wanna clean up my messages...
July 8, 2020 at 9:17 AM #1613229Click select and in drop down ... select all
July 8, 2020 at 10:11 AM #1613247@hunter this is what I meant during the change of servers that the Notifications, even if you read them, never mark themselves as READ, so they remain there forever unless you select them manually, and mark them as READ. Around 3 months ago, this was never an issue, if you clicked on them and read them, they marked themselves as READ and that was that. Now they never do anymore, and you end up with hundreds of "unread" Notifications although you actually read them. That function somehow got lost around the site server move.

July 8, 2020 at 10:16 AM #1613248that problem got fixed ... that time ... even if u view the notification ... it show as not read ... but now if u view ... it didnt shoe notification ...
July 8, 2020 at 9:55 PM #1613382I can see you "drowning" in your notification there Spanky. '(-_-)
I sympathy with you a lot. That's what happend when you wrote down a message on the forum and it suddenly go "viral". (Especially when sometime people overflow the original topic of the message)
And if that post become a main stay, you'll keep getting notification from that post for months, or even more....
Notification are great. I like the current system. They are particularly usefull when you get a Private message....or someone is tagging you in a discussion. But i wonder.....is it really that usefull to get a notification EVERYTIME someone is writting in a message who you were the original author ?!?!?
Especially when it's just people openly commenting and debating between themselves...not even most of the time talking to you or replying specificaly to you ?!?!?What are you people opinion on the subject ?
@Hunter Would it be possible, a way to maybe keep all the current notification system like it is, but just not having the "get a notification when someone is writting in a message you created" ? (Unless that person tag your name in a message/reply toward you)I mean...if someone really want to know if someone wrote in a message she created...he/she can easily just browse on the forum and see if the message got any reply for him/her. Odd are, that person will get name tagged or PM anyway if it's a request. After a while, old message on the forun get purged anyway.
July 9, 2020 at 8:09 PM #1613722Normally I love to get informated about my own threads but...
My Counter is now at 117 ;(
@Hunter I can NOT select all.

Ther eis no "select all" option ;(July 10, 2020 at 2:00 AM #1613768No option for select all
let me see if I can put that without edit the main plugin ...July 10, 2020 at 8:06 AM #1613783yeah thats a must have... or a button to delete all or Mark all read.
Even with a Select all button I have to do that over 5+ Pages :<
Because that one Thread did go crazy in 1 day O_OJuly 13, 2020 at 10:05 AM #1614439July 14, 2020 at 6:42 AM #1614598All old notification is removed
Also, there is a check all button ... now u can delete all notification 😀July 15, 2020 at 9:52 AM #1614769hahah too late I made the work to check every SINGLE checkbox on 5+ Pages ;).... I was thinking about get a ghost mouse script but... no man xD
But thanks, now I can create "critical threads" where all can write a lot and I can delete it 😉A better solution would be, when you just get ONE Notification, that in your Thread is a new Comment.
Like I have it here in vBulletin:

My subscribed Threads are listed when someone write something.
(International Gaming/Coding/Art Forum)But thanks for your work 🙂 Making the Zone to a better Zone 😀
You can now close this thread 🙂
