When having to bend at the waist slightly - such as on the fence - it is quite plausible to take some weight on the slightly bent leg, to avoid all of the displaced weight being placed on the supporting elbow [painful].
Both legs would support - but the weight placed upon the left leg for added balance would cause the left buttock to also tense up - hence earlier description.
Find a fence and try it sometime [although the slight differences in female structure make it more likely to be displayed this way].August 6, 2021 at 7:50 AM #1718191I think it's quite pleasing to the eye, myself. Nice, and soft image. 🙂
August 6, 2021 at 8:21 AM #1718199Let's see ... I don't give a damn about the banner. As if you wanted to put an image of the Nakagaki atomic bomb ... But I think that inquetitude has been created. That's always good ... 😀
August 7, 2021 at 3:10 AM #1718411Are the other 5 entries going to be cycled monthly?
August 7, 2021 at 3:48 AM #1718416Very nice image and I like the peaceful ambience of it, unlike the hurtful comments that followed. Probably a mixture of sour grapes and bruised egos from those less artistically skillful.

Hopefully you do not consider the defense of the image, and why it does not deserve a "you could park a bike in it" type of attitude, from those obviously with a lack of manners [as another thread by a familiar sounding chap advocates], as being amongst the 'hurtful comments'.As these two threads show - some people will go out of their way to criticise or demean something that is of no harm [and possibly a better job than they are capable of].
The 'tear it down' not 'build it up' brigade.
As the famous saying goes:
'If you can't say nothing nice - don't say nothing at all' [Aristocats].... 🙂August 7, 2021 at 9:01 AM #1718442I'm..... not sure what your first sentence means as it's grammatically convoluted and therefore confusing, but I suppose I could be be seen demeaning to those who raised objections to the new banner... if that's what you mean.
To that I confess my comment could be seen as such and I apologise if anyone is offended.... gives oneself a smack on the bottom.... I've fallen into my own trap... shit.August 7, 2021 at 2:32 PM #1718516Anonymous

Why is everyone offended about nothing offensive?
And why do people apologize for saying nothing offensive?Would we have the same response if a well know art critic popped in and said something 'offensive' by just pointing out what they can see in the image?
I mean that's what they do right. Either praise an image or tear it apart.
Aren't we all critics here?I can park a bike between her buttocks is a joke coupled with what I can see.
When I have some time I will replicate the stance and see if the results are the same. It's a nice image i'll give it that. But still it looks as though the girls buttocks are splayed, or open, partially open. I am willing to accept I was wrong if they are not.

I usually like convoluted - it gets people thinking. But:
Clarification....
Hopefully you were not including me amongst the ‘hurtful comments’.
My points were complimenting and defending the image.
The bike comments were unnecessary - yes, be critical, but be helpful, not abusive [even if thought a joke].
I did not mean your comments were demeaning to those being objectionable - demean away [we return to the subject of manners...].Apply soothing cream to smacked bottom [bottom seems appropriate given your avatar] as you said nothing wrong, or needing appologies.
August 7, 2021 at 6:58 PM #1718560Actually, almost as I appreciate you all as if you were on Instagram or Facebook. The posture, the imposture, is the same. Dr. Jeckyll? Mr. Hide? the pretty lady? The acrid man? I will be schizoid, but the attitude of "too many" reflects enormous hypocrisy. 😀
August 8, 2021 at 12:37 AM #1718631Closing this thread as it seems to end up in repeating opinions.
A small variation on Paul's Quote:
