That moment when you discover your charming dance partner might not be quite so charming.
October 12, 2021 at 1:11 AM #1737623Lovely image @Littleevie. I love these sort of confronting themes... the DID (damsel in distress) realises the man-of-her-dreams is not who she thought he was. On-topic and I like it a lot. Thanks for entering the comp.
October 13, 2021 at 12:47 PM #1737997Title - Oh Deer!
You can tell by the wide googly eyes on these wood deer that something is amiss!
October 13, 2021 at 8:47 PM #1738099I wonder how long it will take the leopard to realise those deer ain't for eating. Thanks for entering @Lapucelle.
October 13, 2021 at 10:37 PM #1738146Im gonna say 3
October 15, 2021 at 11:38 PM #1738764Okey dokey entries closed 2 days ago and judgement day is upon us.
As far as I can see there have been -
* 2 entries from @Lucafeelgood... “The last dragon” and “Pukkis grand discovery”

* @D0gg0d (Adam) has two? entries... "Surprise its Halloween" and "Pan galactic gargle blaster", I'm not sure the second one is actually an entry.

* @Marcelocaparoz (Silvio) has entered "OzzMouse"

* @Littleevie (Eve A) has entered what I will call the "Dancing Couple" image

* last but not least we have @Lapucelle with "Oh Deer!"

A big thanks to everyone who participated and an apology for not contributing something myself.
Judging - those interested can PM me with their top 3 picks. If nobody gets back to me I'll do the judging myself. Please PM by 20th Oct so I can publish results and award points etc.
October 15, 2021 at 11:57 PM #1738767Or perhaps someone doing something stupid/inappropriate for the setting. Stay within the site TOS for your images
Yep its an entry

Thanks everyone for taking part. I liked all the entries. And a big thanks to those who added pts to the comp.October 24, 2021 at 12:54 AM #1742796Thanks for the contest and the inspiration
October 24, 2021 at 3:06 AM #1742807Adam, I really liked your pictures. If I voted I'd have given your Halloween one a high ranking as I know it's technically very hard to set up a scene like that, and it's very much in keeping with the theme.
Thanks to Plebby, Eve Adams and ShadowDemonLord for their 10,000 pts each in support of the competition.
I might start awarding points in reverse order due to the transfer limit. Ozzmouse will need his/her pts split over 2 days.
Does my points system make sense to everyone?October 24, 2021 at 3:36 AM #1742810Thanks for running the competition Frank, and well done to some worthy winners. The quality was there for all to see.
October 24, 2021 at 7:11 AM #1742827Big thanks to @shadowdemonlord @plebby and @littleevie for there support. Flowers to all the participants and a big hurrah to Frank, who made this exiting contest.
October 24, 2021 at 7:55 AM #1742833Fuck it (excuse my language) I just realised that Dancing Couple was overlook in the points. I knew I'd screw something up. Sorry @Littleevie (Eve A), I'll send you 2,000pts... I think your image (as I mentioned before) is very special.
October 25, 2021 at 3:31 PM #1743278Thanks!
Points are just a bonus. I like the inspiration, practice and comparison.
(Not saying a few votes wouldn't have been nice) 😛It got me to use the IES profile which I've only used one other time and it worked better than expected.
October 25, 2021 at 7:00 PM #1743310IES profile? I had to look that up @D0gg0d. In your opinion is it worth the effort?
