I've been trying to properly simulate these robes but the sleeve is always "stiff", and I don't know how to mess with simulation settings. I've tried:
    Changing stabilization time
    Changing FPS
    Changing quality
    Changing collision iterations.
Robes are Royal Sun for genesis 9. Any help appreaciated, thanks!

There are some dForce settings by RGcincy, half-way down this page, that have helped me in the past. Might be worth a look at. Changing Density and/or Bend Stiffness could help with the sleeve.

If all that doesn't work you could try meshgrabber. I use it for small edits so not sure if it would work effectively on something that large.

Thinking about it, I reckon Adam's suggestion could be the best, I don't know much about dformers. I would use Mesh Grabber to select and rotate the sleeve after simulation. If you don't have MG and it's add-ons they're here.

mesh grabber is a life safer but I'm thinking of using it only as a last resort if I can't really fix the simulation, thanks everyone! I'll try the settings Frank talked about first and if it doesn't work i'll resort to mesh grabber 🙂

Yah, I use deformer also. Mostly to push stuff rather than turn it. Might wind up using both. The grabber to turn it and the deformer to .. uhm deform it. Deformer is more tricky for me to use since the sphere is kinda difficult for me to place sometimes. Dforce is a hit/miss for me. Sometimes it works great other times its a cluster$#%%.

Changing the bend stiffness/stiffness overall on the surface seemed to help a lot. Apparently the sleeves aren't weight mapped right and are stiff on the top but I can fix that with meshgrabber. Thanks everyone for the help!
