Need help with adding LIE to shoulders

So basically I have been trying to get a scar on my character's shoulder but when I try to do that it looks very weird.. is there anyway to just.. directly paint it on somehow? Because this takes way too much trial and error ):

I had this issue with back tattoos because they are over a seam. You could possibly alter the UV map but Ive no clue how to do that. You could Alter the textures but thats a bit more complicated near a seam. Try this and see if it works.

Check that you a using a LIE for the right base figure as the UV mapping isn't the same between different Genesis generations, eg. between Genesis 1, 2 and 3/4. LIEs are designed to work on specific figures and male/female characters and those with different or custom UVs will cause LIE addons to not line up correctly.
If it's a female LIE on a male or vise versa you could use something like this to convert the UV mapping.

You can paint directly on it using Substance painter or 3d Coat then exporting it as a LIE Png. There are plenty tutorials online on using both.
