I'm working on an idea I had for a Star Wars story and I made a poster for it.
The basic premise is, 5 criminals, who were caught by the Empire and rescued by the Rebellion. However because they actually were criminals, the Rebels didn't just set them free, they made them into a team of covert assasins/spies/whatever they needed and sent them (along with a droid to guard them) on the most dangerous missions imaginable. Shuttle Tydirium? Guess who stole that!
When the war ended and the Empire was defeated, the new Rebublic didn't want to be associated with scum such as these individuals. They gave them their freedom as promised, but marked them as dangerous criminals, meaning they wouldn't be able to find legitimate work anywhere in the New Republic.
So, these five unwanted, discarded and highly skilled warriors set out to the outer Rim. Along the way they'll meet evil bounty hunters, remnants of the old empire and Ahsoka Tano...Nice man,..I like how it fills the screen. Nice purple sky effect.
I like doing book covers and movie poster stuff. I should get back into that.
I need to work on my photoshop skills as well. You work stands out.I am kinda rediscovering startwars because of this place........Star wars, you know the past week or so i have learnt that there are a lot of characters in daz that i didnt know that are starwars dudes...........and they are still making films too....after all these years, its still a thing.
Yeah, I just bingewatched the clone wars TV series... sooo much better than the prequel films!
The sky is actually a photograph of an actual nebula. I rendered each character individually and stuck them on the picture. Then I used lots of layers of the nebula (almost one per character) and played with the magic eraser tool. It's really quite easy to do.
I think I should add some spaceships though, but I'm worried about having the scene be too crowded...
