I finally managed to acquire some new items yesterday and was really looking forward to sharing them here (shared just one), but Sod’s Law being what it is, my PC died this morning. I knew it was on its last legs, but I didn’t think it would happen for a while. I hope some things can be salvaged from the hard drive; if not, it’ll be a pain in the butt trying to get everything back. Especially my DAZ library... 😢 I hope to get a new PC next week; until then, no more rendering for me. You don’t realise how much of a 3D addict you’ve become until you have to do without.
You need to keep your DS library backuped on an external drive, just for this reason. I bet you'll love having a new PC.
Thankfully my hard drive is okay; I installed it in an old PC that I'm using to tide me over until next week. The motherboard and the fan are destroyed and I was really worried about the hard drive, but it seems to be working fine. It's really slow, though, and isn't compatable with Daz, but at least I'll be able to upload now.
