The second one is much better, but the lighting seems to be much better also. I usually prefer the lighter skins because you can change tone more easily. She really is beautiful, better than at least 90% of the available G8 girls!

This is looking really good.

As far as the dial spun morphs go, you could export after the dials are applied. Then import as a singular morph. For selling purposes, this is a no-no, for sure. But for the sake of practicality, it should do just fine.

It's been a bit of a nightmare concerning the texture and they still needs some work since Iray hasn't been kind to me in Studio 4.20 I found out 4.20 has some bugs when saving, it sometimes forgets where the texture maps are located which caused a prolonged period of head bashing against the wall.

Thanks for that piece of information. Once I get frustrated I usually throw the morph into Zbrush and create it there. Saves a lot of messing about.

Fingers crossed I'll post the body and head morph on the blog this weekend.

Crazy Rage converted from V4 to G8.1 has been the biggest headache of all. The lashes, tears and eyes needed fixing. Then there's the problem when expressions are applied, she can look horrific. I accept she was created for V4 and would need a complete overhaul if I was to go for a non screwed up G8.1 morph. Yet another on the to-do list :/

Thanks for the link @d0gg0d but the never version of DS has been breaking some older gen UV maps that worked previously. But I'm willing to give any non DAZ store stuff a go, thanks again.

The London texture is almost done, just needs a little tweak here and there before release. Danae's textures are outstanding IMO, Iray makes a good job with older textures as long as the detail is there.

One last piece of useless info. The eyes....You may need to tweak them manually with certain expressions. They don't pop out like some other characters but they can make the sides of the eye sockets bulge just a little.

I give up. I managed to convert Amara to G8. The eyelashes didn't really work and the eyes were too small, but I think she looks OK.
The textures on the other hand are a lost cause. I converted to G2 and used the legacy UV but got this. Can't really find a way to convert the skin to G3 or G8. I read about Texture Transformer but it's nowhere to be found.
I'll leave the converting to smarter people than me, but it was fun trying it 🙂

BTW not all V4 / Genesis 0 - 1 - 2 - 3 skins are worth converting as I found out :/
