I stopped receiving points after renewing my membership.
Did I do something wrong?October 30, 2024 at 8:23 AM #2098774New members get 500 "welcome points" for joining up but as you're just renewing your membership you won't. I suggest you read this.
October 30, 2024 at 8:24 AM #2098775I have had the same problem since October 24, 2024!
October 30, 2024 at 8:33 AM #2098777That's when the new system came into effect... read the f'kn new setup for Christ's sake.
October 30, 2024 at 8:42 AM #2098780Read??? Isn't there an app that takes care of it? 😉
October 30, 2024 at 8:48 AM #2098781The curent situation is due to the search for leachers. I looked at the site activity a few times, I still see a flurry of new users. So I'm assuming that if the new users need something, they would need to buy points. Or, as suggested, upload an item. I looked at the option to fill a Dead Post. I saw quite a few that I have purchased and I found a lot have faults, some only minor. Other items in Dead Posts got bad reviews on Rendo, but were not upgraded by the vendors. So, if I just wanted points I could just fill a Dead Post regardless of it's age or quality. As someone said in another comment, do we see this site as an archive if Daz goes under?

Quality is subjective Zaba. Some want stuff I'd never want or ever use.
Well you could report a live link as dead, and try to re-up it before the OP renews the old link. Perhaps some people do but it a very dodgy way to try and earn points and unnecessary.October 30, 2024 at 9:43 AM #2098799By quality, I meant overall. If I buy an item, even if it's poor I could find something in it to re-use. But some are triangulated geometry, which Poser doesn't like, some have bland, single colour textures, back facing polygons etc. I didn't want to fill the place with junk. Not everybody has a lot of editing tools or time. If I see an item on here from Rendo, I check the reviews. Some reviews are quite 'interesting!' Some items need other items that are no longer available, for example, there are skin suit type products requiring shaders that were freebies on sites that vanished.
October 30, 2024 at 12:27 PM #2098882But you also risk someone else filling the request before you get around to it, losing both money and points.
October 30, 2024 at 2:49 PM #2098932Did you try virustotal.com?
October 30, 2024 at 3:17 PM #2098937Something else I've run into is antivirus companies, under pressure from software companies, are calling serialz, crackz or other work arounds, a virus even though we know they aren't. It's an attempt to scare people away from using hacked software. AVG is particularly bad and their web protector program delivers warning pop-ups for all kinds of sites that have naughty stuff and/or hacked software. I have to turn mine off or it won't let me go near Bunkrr.
