Hello, hello!
I just wanted to ask if people have used Mirror Geometry for Genesis 8 with the Badlands Gladiator to mirror the arm armor to the other arm?
Everytime I try it, even though I follow the instructions exactly, the mirrored item shows up and no errors appear, nothing gets saved at the end as the output. I've tried working with other G8 items and they seem to be working fine, but for some reason this one doesn't.Help would be greatly appreaciated! I'll offer 5000 points for it.

November 25, 2025 at 11:22 AM #2154114Hey, thanks for the tip, but that doesn't really work, because I want both arms to have the armor. If I reflect the character or not, the armor is always just on 1 arm.
EDIT: I'm also having issues with the Blackguard for Genesis 3 Male and the Mirror Geometry for Genesis 3 so I feel like it's maybe an issue with the newer versions of DAZ compared to the older scripts.
Anyway if someone can help me mirror these two items successfully I will give them 12.500 points.
November 25, 2025 at 12:04 PM #2154127Hello, perhaps I'm not understanding your problem; I assume that if you want the armor on both arms you are loading the asset twice and mirroring one, right?.
Have you tried saving the reflected armor as a scene subset or wearable preset and loading it later to another character or scene?
Hope you will solve it somehow and share the solution. You never know when you will bump into the same issue...
Best regards,
November 25, 2025 at 12:15 PM #2154129That does not work because if I reflect X -100 on the armor, it still sticks to the right arm, so the morphs are all messed up. What works is duplicating the character parenting them to the base character, hiding them and reflecting them, but then I have to indivudally pose both characters separately which is a hassle and a half.
EDIT: Welp I just converted the genesis 8 armor to genesis 9 and used the g9 geometry mirror script instead and it works.
