If I am correct, Merchant resources are simply texture files made available to incorporate into your own products? Thanks!!!
Yes, a merchant resource is something that you can buy and use in a texture pack of your own for resale or to use for personal use, like adding a knit look to clothing.
You can also use the resource to make something to sell of your own, however, you need to change the resource enough to make it not just a copy/paste of the original. Same thing with backgrounds for images to resell.
